1988 - CTS is founded as a joint initiative between IBM of Mexico and Cinvestav
1990 - Development of the first telecommunications ASIC
1993 - Start of the first multi-year services contract (1993-2000)
1994 - Development of the world's first 100 MHz PC (Ambra-IBM)
1995 - First telecommunications ASIC developed under a royalty-based agreement
2000 - Start of the first long-term hardware-firmware services contract (2000-2014)
2003 - First graduating class of the PADTS training program
2006 - First medical device (hearing aid for severe hearing loss)
2008 - National award by the Department of Labor for outstanding university-industry collaboration
